Anthony Burn BDS MDSc FDS RCS D.Orth RCS M.Orth RCS

I am registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council and am a member of the Specialist Practitioner Group of the British Orthodontic Society.

I qualified, with Honours, from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1983 and then after a period of 3 years Hospital training I attained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This was followed by a further 3 years training in Orthodontics at Leeds University and Dental Hospital, following which I attained the Master of Dental Science Degree, Diploma in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I was awarded the Orthologic Gold Medal for outstanding performance in the Membership in Orthodontics examination in Edinburgh.

I am a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists and International Member of the American Association of Orthodontists. I have lectured nationally for 3M Unitek and Invisalign.

My considerable experience in the Invisalign technique has been recognised by being awarded the Platinum Practitioner Status. Anthony recently had the honour of having two Invisalign® treated cases published in the latest European Casebook.

Gillian Anne Burn BDS

I qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1983. I worked in general practice for 13 years and set up and ran my own dental surgery for 8 of those years. I sold my dental surgery in 1996 to work exclusively in orthodontics. I am a member of the Practitioner Group of the British Orthodontic Society and am a dentist with Special Interest in Orthodontics.

Anthony and I operate from Blackpool OrthoWorld, 24 Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, which is part of the OrthoWorld group of specialist practices distributed throughout the UK.
